Friends brought me some I. dichotoma Pall. seeds
from Mongolia a few years ago. I planted about 30 of them, and four
germinated. Three of those have survived, and one is blooming today for
the first time. This is also known as the Vesper Iris. The
stalk shot is to let you know the habit of growth. --
