That startling white beard is white all the way into the throat. When a
took apart one fading fall I finally discovered a tiny bit of light
yellow tip way,way down otherwise, it is very white. It was a real
surprise. The other seedlings in the cross did not have clean white
beards. This is definitely a keeper!
