Thanks for the update on the convention Adam, one of those "if only the convention had been next week" things.  ....probably all 7 will set pods on dots and splashes, even if you don't cross it.  Make sure you get to the flowers immediately as they open or you will end up with an unknown cross.  one of the most fertile iris i have ever seen, if you just look at it a pod sets.

Didn't go myself, Mike, but I heard that the tour gardens were FULL of buds!  :-)  Kinda just like mine right now . . . 


BTW,  'Dot's And Splashes' just opened up this morning, and I'm impressed. :-)  7 buds to this stalk as a first year transplant, and I"m wondering how many of those buds will set pods . . .  teehehehehe.

Anybody have a report on the convention?  my guess is lots of medians were blooming but not too many TBs based on the incredible cool and wet spring we have been having.  If anybody has some info on it i would love to hear about it.
