Sometime back when Davy Crocket come down here and gimme a talk, he said them coons didn't much like goin into "open spots". Now I know them skunks don't climb trees cause I dun once had occasion to run. With bears and panthers we know his advice would be for usins to jist grin. Now he tole me too, them coons they can't can't jump so much. So based on what ole Davy said and the little I know, I'd be settin' that trap some where in the open pretty high off the ground, low enough for a squirrel to jump, and on a metal pole.

If you ain't dietin' the coons are ok but they are a little too greesy ifin you are (yar in Southern).
