Whoa dudes and dudettes, don't get your knickers in a twist... Even though
I'm a unix geek, I think I can tell you how to care for uuencoded stuff.
If you have a poor email interface (what you use to read email), it won't
handle uuencoded files, but since there are a zillion different ways to read
email, its hard to say if your particular poison will do it. A little
searching if it has help should tell you fairly quickly and what to do.
Otherwise...
If it shows as an attachment, save the attachment to a file. Otherwise, save
the whole email to a file and edit it with notepad, deleting all the lines
before "begin" and after "end". Winzip can decode uuencoded files, so just
use that program to decode it.
Uuencoding is a standard open format so there are lots of free shareware
programs that handle it also...
