Yes and thats exactly why I did them... just too impatient sometimes!

Apollo is very helpful actually. He never digs in the beardless beds but does 
occassionally help with the feltilization! Mostly he lies around a lot till I 
get out the camera.

Southern new jersey. We had the mildest winter in a long time with only an 
occassional day or 2 of normal too-darn-cold temps... If I lived in your 
zone, I'd have to have my entire garden under glass!
