Yesterday O.C. posted some of his
Iris pictures. He forgot to include the names and a description. This morning he
went back on the Cooley Iris site and got their description of these
Iris:
(1)
GLAZED GOLD- (O. Brown,85) EM.33" Brilliant Yellow Orange.
Small lighter areas lie beneath the Indian
Yellow Beard.
(2) EARL
OF ESSEX - (Zubrigg, 80) E.35" Famous rebloomer. Orchaid-Violet
plicata stippling and
veining on white ground Well defined Orchaid-Violet border on falls.
Pale
Orange Beards infused pale Violet. Late summer
bloomer
(3) CELESTIAL
FLAME - (Dubose,88) EM.37" Significaant improvement in
red-
bearded Whites. Tall and vigorous with heavy ruffles on
bright Snow White flowers. Beards
are a broilliant Tangerine Red.
Sounds like what he posted. In the
future, he will post a similar description on each Iris, when he know it or can
find it.
O.C. still waiting for the fog to
lift so he can go see his Iris GROWING in the
sun.........
