Don't forget that growing conditions can really affect color. This is one
case where I'd put more stock in whether the habit and form are the same. I.
germanica may not be as greatly affected.

Colleen,  Iris City Gardens carry both *albicans* and *florentina.*  Neither
look like what I grew in Idaho as albicans.
