Believe me, I've been trying to improve my picture taking technique. 
There are so many variables though: sunlight, flash, background, 
timing (morning or afternoon). Still, pictures don't always reflect 
true colors. I think I took ten pictures of this same flower in 
order to find "one" that was worth sharing.
