Whatever it is, Donald, it really looks interesting and pretty.  Those petals seem to be almost transparent.

Arilbred, OGB+ type, Shockey 1975.  I've had this for years.  First time
I've seen it bloom.  Late freezes, a near death bout with scorch, just plain
bad luck.  But this was the year to finally see it.  But the official
description says it has a yellow beard and this one clearly does not; it
says it's a blue self with a darker V signal - no mention of lines or
veining.  The effect is something of a V signal when looking at it, but it's
pretty iffy to describe it that way.  So it seems likely this may be an
imposter or mixup.
