Y'alll will think I am crazy but I feed my squirriels by hand. I have trained them to come up to me and feed them peanuts. The litter varments sit in a roll watching me as I hand out the peanuts, use their tiny fingers to carefully crush the peanut and extract the nut.....Now, the small caves they dig are another thing. I simply asked them not to do it anymore and to make their land homes somewhere else...

The squirrels here in our (I live near Mike) neck of the woods have a gang mentality. They would overpower and possibly eat even the largest of dogs. There is one albino squirrel who is the leader, and he is a smart one. All is lost. <G>
