Michael -- Here at the tip-top of Zone 7 in Virginia, we are able to plant
the walking iris outside in semi-shade after danger of frost is past. It's
spent blossoms root themselves in the surrounding soil. I experimented one
year to see if it would winter over outside. It didn't. -- Griff
