Re: HYB: seedlings


When I get more than 3 or 4 seedlings from one cross in a chilling
cycle, they all go into a big container together.  Or in a few big
containers.

Like the two older seedlings - they are survivors from the great damp
off - started out with 13 babies in that pot.

The last photo posted Fri, 24 Mar 2006 shows one cross replanted in a
shallow 8 inch pot, another replanted in a 2 ft long plastic window box.

Anything with at least 6 inches of rooting depth.
