What area are you from? I am in TN and the increase and new leaves are a little slower than some of the others, but seem comparable and not terribly slow.  It only is showing 4 increase right now and I planted it in Aug of last year.

Linda, I live in Arizona - where the state flower is the Saguaro Flower. (a flower from a cactus).  Tennessee's state flower is well...............  the Iris.  Lucky you!  :-)   And that may partly explain why irises can do better in your state.  Your state is one of the better states to grow irises in.

Our climate can be hard for some irises (not all) to adapt and feel at home.  I remember when I first got Ghio's Puccini ................. For 3 years I thought I was going to lose it, then all of the sudden it took off.  It's been  a great grower ever since!  And so I'm hoping the same for Expose'.

Thanks for asking.  That was a good question.
