Betsy, Thank you. I agree it is a very nice to grow. I grew it in the late 60s and eventually lost it when we had the record year of rain in Orinda where I lost about 90% of my arils, so since then I have grown them in the greenhouse. They do like the outside a lot better under less rain conditions. This year the month of Mar had the record rain for Mar. Glad they are in the greenhouse this time.

    Yes, Asoka is blooming now in my garden, and I took the photo and posted it for you to use in the Checklist.  It's 66 years old and in my opinion can still hold its own with the newest varieties.
