Hi, Loic -- It doesn't seem as if
you've been on the list long enough to still have my former e-mail address, but
I guess time flies. In any event, the current one is jgcrump@cox.net. As to shipping abroad,
I have in the past and would like to continue to do so. There are two
problems. One is the handling (delay) that may occur in the receiving
country. The other is a certainty -- the bureaucratic
difficulty and expense imposed here. In Virginia, for each shipment, we
must have a separate visit from a state inspections officer at about $27 (the
last time I did it), and, even if one has, say, 5 boxes to ship at the same
time, the state charges a separate visit cost for each box! This is
the kind of government nonsense that oppresses business and suppresses trade
among hybridizers. That's my rant for today. I've been a government
regulator, myself, and I hate such idiocy. So, I'm willing to keep trying
to defeat them. Let me know. -- Griff

Introductions
Friends -- Beginning this year, I
am introducing my own irises at http://www.pilmore.com/griffinsden/.
Shipping will also be direct from my gardens. Previous introductions
will still be available through Winterberry Gardens via their
catalogue. Contact information is available on the website. A
price list will be furnished, on request, from
jgcrump@cox.net. The website has been established
through the generous creativity of a friend. Enjoy.
-- Griff
