Rita:
I assume you want pictures of the flowers and trophies and not of
people. Is that correct? Do you need to know the iris names?
I developed a powerpoint presentation on iris grooming. I show it to
the club before the show. Plus we do live demonstrations on
grooming. Each year I listen carefully do the judges and take
pictures of irises that have grooming problems. Next year I develop a
slide around that iris explaining its faults. Of course I sometimes have
to byte my tongue and not make comments while the judges are commenting about
my iris (but the winds were gusting to 60 mph yesterday!) ;-)
Does AIS have a powerpoint presentation on groomng?

The AIS Slides/Digital Program Committee is finishing up a new CD called
"It's Show Time!" and we need more pics taken at actual shows-especially of
the "Queen's Table" and any trophies given. We know there are scores of you
who take lots of "Show Photos"!
The pics don't have to be high res for PowerPoint programs but please
send them off-line to me so we don't clutter up the list and give
written permission to use in AIS programs. Our very simple copyright
wording shows the photographer as owner of the picture, not AIS. You
will, of course, receive our undying gratitude and nothing else!
Thanks in advance for your help!
