Just for you guys under snow.... we will undoubtedly pay for the kind
(to plants anyway) winter with a super hot summer.

This winter's new babies are underneath wire half rounds of fence
material, covered with floating row covers.

Last winter's babies, the two wide rows on the right, are as big as
established older clumps. 5 to 6 inch spacing was too close this time!
Way too good survival & growth for such close spacing. Maiden bloom
this spring for all except one that bloomed last fall indoors in a pot.
