here is some photos of Iris aphilla in bloom May 12, 2001 at Ukraine, Lvov region.
Slopes of hills where aphilla grow and some remarkable flowers. A00 - a bit reddish. A06- with dark veins on the petals, 20 cm high.
Sorry my scanner UMAX Astra 1220 don't give real sharpness, so better images you could see later.
