I agree with you completely about Repartee. I saw it in a nearby garden a
couple of weeks ago. To me, it was the loveliest color I saw that day (and
that was in a field of several hundred blooming that day, including many
newer varieties). I intend to get it this July. The elderly lady who grows it
(along with about 1,000 others) said it was one variety that appreciated a
bit of shade. Not only held its colors better in shade, but seemed to prefer
the shade at all stages of growth. Interesting, I thought, so that's where
I'll try it first when I get it home.
