Hi Linda,
I too occasionally miss receiving some postings.  I know this can and does happen because when some things don't make sense/or it's hard to follow  - - -  I go to the Yahoo Group Site.  There I read the posting or postings I didn't receive.  Maybe (I'm just guessing here) it has something to do with the E-mail system.  (Occasionally it may go down or skip over E-mails).
By the way - - I loved your LA PICS.  I love LA's.
