Here is Act Three (Blyth, 95)
I have a cheap HP scanner with what I consider to
be very bad software. The scanner automaticly scans at 150 dpi. As an engineer,
I change that to 75. I have all my photo printed in 5" x 7" size. I then crop to
324 x 324 pixels to make work on the web site easier. Finally I
do the jpg compression when I save the image to the hard drive. I use Picture
Publisher (orphaned years ago) for all of the photo editing needs. I can
scan and do all of the editing in less than 2 minutes per photo.
Have to quit for the night as I have used my quota
of postings for the day.
