MIke's picture did look different from the HIPS photo but both were ugly!<G>

I don't have any ugly irises. I did, but it never bloomed. My original
rhizomes came from a lady in Texas whom I met on a cats forum on Prodigy
some 12 years ago. She gave me one called "Carnival Magic", and when it
bloomed in her garden she E-mailed me and said that she was sorry she had
sent it, that if she had known how ugly it would be she would have
substituted, and that I should rip it out of the ground at once! I never got
see whether it was really as ugly as she said! Has anybody seen this iris?

Mike, this doesn't look like the Jungle Shadows pictured on the HIPS web
site (www.worldiris.com).  There is a similarity, but a lot of difference.
