I had purchased Batik several yeas ago. Like things you want, it up and died on me. This year an iris came up in the other half of a bed. I had put some iris in there and then moved everything around. I normally plant half iris and half other perennials in a bed. Primarily under severe pressure from the distaff side of our agreement.
Long story short, it was Batik resurrecting itself.
As Frankenstein said "It lives"!
