Bill - in this case, I'd judge the substance to be that of a late 90s or
even more recent introduction.  Another variable in describing substance
is the color class - the more mundane the class (i.e., yellow), the
heavier/stronger the substance maybe.

I'd rank the substance of this one as more than any of my 80s irises,
comparable to some from this century.
