Another seedling

Thank your all for the comments on my SA seedling.  I’ve decided to keep it.  It is a two year clump that has been almost crowded out by its more vigorous siblings.  It didn’t bloom last year.  One of the two siblings was also SA, a very undistinguished orchid.  The other was similar to Celebration Song.  I give them past tense because they have finished blooming and get the shovel as soon as I get back from the cabin where I’m going to see what’s blooming up there.

 

I’m keeping too many from this bunch of about 50 survivors of the 2002 die-off.  I’ll line them out in the orchard, neglect them for awhile and see what they’ll do.
