This is one for Rita.

This is the best named iris I know. Very fertile both ways . Our harsh sun deepens the effect of oil soluable pigments so the falls will be paler for most people.

S. lavender violet (RHS 85B) edged aster violet (87B): style arms violet, rib darker: F. Naples yellow (11A) edged light violet-white: beards tangerine, aster violet at end: lightly ruffled: slight  sweet fragrance (ALPINE JOURNEY X VAVOOM)
