RE: Transition - spuria

Dave Niswonger to this day is hoping for a pink spuria. He keeps seeing a hint of pink that no one else sees.  A pink spuria for sure didn't exist in 1972. Another proof that registration information cannot be trusted.

Subject: [iris-photos] Transition - spuria

Transition - spuria- (Ferguson 1972) - blend of pink shades to greyed pink.  This is kind of a light violet for me & still has the plastic  name lable in the pot that I sunk into the ground it's growing in.  So either it's not quite like it's description.  The wrong root arrived, or someone with a sense of humor has been switching the labels in the pots.
