My Batik does this all the time.  Sometimes there are just a few streaks on a flower, sometimes none, like in your picture.

Oh but it is. It is famous for putting out the crazy "Blooms" This is just the first solid colored one I have seen.
Photo below has the odd bloom and a normal on same stalk.  Have about 10 normal blooms open now.
