Thx Pearl!  Guess I'll have to send ground mail to Jimmy Clark.  I'd like to let him know which of the irises he sent me a few years ago have survived & bloomed.
 
Yesterday blooming: MDBs Extra, Navy Doll, Bitsy Blue, Grapelet, Brass Button, Born Royal, Little Drummer Boy, Pixie Kissess, Grandma's Hat & Knick Knack.  SDBs Forever Blue and Frankincense.  Also blooming is that cute little blue eyed grass; self sowed in my yard a few years ago.

No, I believe the man's name is Max Clark. His wife is Billie Yvonne. She is a cousin to Hooker Nichols.
