ROUND UP? Not a chance...I am organic (but
not certified), and my neighbour is also, has lived there for years, never uses
chemicals...only PULLS the weeds (like I do) I could tell you some nightmares
about what Round Up has done to your water and foods....but no way has it
happened to my Iris.

*Round Up free zone* so sure, we have some
weeds, but they are HEALTHY weeds (and my goats and llamas and horses sure love
to eat them)

The
weird blooms are probably RoundUp damage.

I had a Batik last week similar, most
definitely 5 falls!!! I took pics too...and used the pollen on a few
specific TBs...and also selfed it. Wonder what I will get! BTW, yesterday
was at a neighbours Iris garden - she has over 500 named varieties - and she
had several TB with weird sport blooms, very skinny falls with no frills,
even the colors were not quite the same! Wonder if it is the weather, or
what?

bloom
Hi, all,
I was on "no mail" for a while but
decided to rejoin the list. I have not had a great bloom season but I
have had some garden weirdness. I have white and blue (they look purple
to me, but they're called Zwanenberg's <sp> Blue) tradescantia
growing under a lilac and near some irises. They're nice clumps except
for one spindly bit growing where I had not planted it- looks like
it is IN a clump of STELLAR LIGHTS. Today it flowered, and the flower
is lavender.
I had a TIGER HONEY bloom with one fall that was
half brown and half broken color.
Today I found this. I counted
four falls and four standards but my mom thought she saw
five.
