Diploid plicata

I've always had a soft spot for plicatas in general...
but this is one of my current favorites.
It's the nicest of the five seedlings I selected for
strong PBF (purple based foliage) from one of my
diploid bearded crosses (KUPARI X ROSEMARY'S DREAM).
Every last seedling from that cross is tall, plicata
and sweetly scented. If I had to fault it I'd probably
say that it doesn't have as much substance as the
typical tetraploid tall beardeds. But it sure makes a
pretty clump anyway.
It's also very fertile either way, so I've been using
it in crosses with just about anything diploid I've
got.
