Here is 'Boss Tweed' shot with a flash on a Canon PowerShot last weekend at the Iris show in Albuquerque.  It should be the real deal.
The lighting makes a huge difference on how this one appears.  Some lighting makes it look orange, in other situations it looks decidedly goldish or brownish.  All can be one flower.
