Well, at least I think it's a historic - I didn't look it up.
I really like these old small tetraploids. This goes well with a
number of others such as Shah Jehan, Wabash, Bright Hour, Amigo, Antigone,
Depute Nomblet, Gay Head, etc. Griff's 'Torchlight Parade' is a good
partner to these as well.
'Louvois' is late, strong, and prolific, but kind'a short in my
garden. Last flower today, so it looses the last flower of the season
contest, but just barely.
Spurias are going strong now. Glad I planted them, the Iris season
gets another couple of weeks now.
