That backlit photo didn't really show the speckling very well, & neither
does this one, but here's another view. The speckles are just a few
spots of purple, possibly just a weather thing.

Glad you like it Jan. I do too! A little retro, but I have great
appreciation for just about anything that managed to bloom this year.
This one wasn't protected from the freezes.
