HYB: My very first seedling . . .

Hi everyone!

Finally, after THREE LONG YEARS (it really doesn't seem that long now. hehehe.) I have my very first seedling in bloom! Yayyyy!!!!!!

Okay, one drawback . . . I know it's nothing exceptional to look at. But here it is. :-)

Parentage is "Earl Hall seedling X BLUE FOR SUE". My clump of the Hall seedling is in bloom right now, which this seedling looks a lot like. Blue For Sue isn't in bloom yet, however. Oh, and most of the seedlings in this cross, 18 of 'em, have a lot of nice increases like it's Hall parent.

The last thing I'll say about this (except that I don't plan on using it for hybridizing material,) is that the terminal bloom is below the foliage of the stalk. A sibling of this one is in bud right now, too, and it's below the foliage as well.

I'm happy though! Just wanted to share my super-excitement with you all. Thanks for all your help, encouragement in germination techniques, and wonder seedling pics that YOU ALL post for me to enjoy! You're all a blessing!

Adam~
