Mike --  In addition to Margie's advice, I'd suggest you cut or break the spent stalk at its base and let the plant put its energy into, hopefully, giving you some increase.  --  Griff

I'll say WOW with you Mike..............I love the red!  I hope it gives you increases........meanwhile at least collect the pollen and use it or freeze it for next year.  I hate when seedlings do that - --  give no increases.  In a sense they commit suicide.  I wish I knew what causes that, or what we could do to change that.
