Re: HYB: Iris tectorum

Hi Thomas

Those are wonderful seedlings. Are you going to keep crossing among them?

Subject: [iris-photos] HYB: Iris tectorum

(I hope I've reduced these image sizes enough that it
doesn't cause too much grief)

I selected these three seedlings as "the most improved
or interesting" , out of the F2 (second generation) of
a cross between the generic/typical blue form and
generic/typical white form of Iris tectorum.

The white is larger and has wider, more overlapping
petals than the original white.

Of the other two, the one on the left is the darkest
purple. The one on the right has normal coloration,
but has the widest, most overlapping form.
