This is a sibling to the one with freeze damage.
I played peek-a-boo with this one and learned an old lesson-again!
Many changes happen as the bud goes through those last couple of days!
What I saw during the "peeking" was a yellow fall rim, royal blue falls
& a beautiful yellow beard.
There has got to be a better way to deal with impatience during iris
season! <vbg>

This one is for Christian. Maybe this will explain what I mean by
freeze damage.
One bud on this seedling was totally welded shut by the freeze damage.
This one opened anyway, but look at the mess! All of the edges are
damaged. If I get a "normal" bloom later I will try to remember to
post it for comparison.

I'm struggling with a new camera and new program. Please bear with my
