(Yellow Tapestry X Luna di Miele)

These two had to be paired, they seemed the perfect match...and i haven't been disapointed:
the 3rd sdlg to bloom (6 buds- 22", might grow a little next year ) has such a special glow about it , that it makes it stand out in the middle of the garden.
 It reminds me of a place in France, near Chamonix,  where you can walk inside a glacier, La Mer De Glace.
The blue light that surrounds you there is of the same quality as the light that comes from this iris. 
But what is even more striking is the gold rim it has around the falls, plus a gold stich at the tip of the style arms, and a slight gold rim at the top of the standards.
It makes it look so rich and precious!
So, FIL D'OR it is (Gold Thread), might never be registered, but it is easier to think about it with a name instead of a code!
