I view everything at the hort.net archives first, but if I want to send a message (like I am now,) I go to groups.yahoo.com, sign in with the user name I used to sign up to the group, and find the iris-photos message I want to reply to, then send my message.
I think you can reply by email too, if you send the email to iris-photos@yahoogroups.com (just like when you send a photo).
I hope that helps, especially because your seedlings have my attention and I'd like to know more about them.
