SDLG: Gnu Rayz x Helmsman

Thought I’d jump in the fray with a seedling that opened this morning.  I’m working on developing a line of orange-ground plicatas.  This is the first from a series of crosses toward that goal to bloom this year.  You can’t see it from the photo but there is a tiny bit of orange blushing at the hafts.  A very bunchy stalk too with lots of buds.

Lots more to come.  SDBs working towards peak bloom here by the end of the week.  Hope to see many of you at convention!

P.S.—Follow me on twitter @rainbowirisfarm.  Posting several photos a day via Twitpic.
