I think that whether you have to click on something or not (as in
the past not the current situation) had to do with settings in you mail
program. I may be wrong.
But now I have to decide what to do about this mess.
Some of my options are:
1. Set it up as a mailing list at Mallorn like Yahoo! used to
be,
forwarding the message with the attachment to
people.
2. Set it up as a mailing list at Mallorn like Yahoo!
is now,
inlining the image from the hort.net
servers. The images
would still show up in the archives. (Involves
a separate step and a browser window to download the picture meaning you have
to wait while it downloads as opposed to the picture coming down with the
email (slows down your mail) but you have the picture with out waiting each
time)
3. Leave the list at Yahoo! and try to write a
pre-archive 'wrapper'
that grabs attachments from Yahoo!, sticks
them on the message, and
then puts it into the archives. This
will work until Yahoo!
changes things again.

Funny that.. I have always had to click to download the pictures
and select an editor which took 2 extra steps and much time. Now I get a
nice but very small thumbnail and a fast opening larger picture when I click
on the "x". So whatever was changed is working much better for me. (I am on
a wintel xp, using ie and FireFox browsers)

Subject: [iris-photos] WHERE ARE THE
PHOTOS
I am looking for attachments and there is nothing there. Is
something wrong with the system or has it changed IRIS PHOTOS? My photos go
thru ok but where are the others?
