I can <almost> understand all that...soooo, insert menu is a Thunderbird

I'm using Thunderbird (20090302) and can't find an insert menu.
Thanks, Colleen. Will rummage and see if I can figure out what to do.

On the other hand, from what I read, this probably isn't a good option
because it increases file size considerably to use embedded stuff
instead of plain text with attachments.

...And now I just read John's post - hooray, John. Thanks.

Will try that last photo post again.
