That is the date which was on it in the Historic Garden.  Other than that, I don't know it.

Ah ha! Of course it's flavescens! It's on my front yard (unblooming, as yet), that's why it looks familiar! I thought it was from much earlier than 1813, though... I must have it confused with something else. Thanks!
