I'm generally pleased with the results, Anita, and hope to continue developing the line.  I'm tickled by the red and blue beard on this little thing.  Whaaaat!  Where did THAT come form?  It may be a border bearded.  This is it's first bloom, so we'll have to see later on. 
 
I'm more and more intrigued by the maturing process that occurs in certain varieties.  We all know (or we learn) that an iris can't be dependably judged by its first bloom.  Usually, I think, the 3d year is a pretty generally accepted threshold for evaluation.  But I have seen seedlings continue to improve (like a doctor's chart, granted) over a span of 10 or more years.  --  Griff
