After all these years, 2 of those seedlings still
look good to me, the other 2 not so much, but they're all part of the family
now. They've all done well here too, 3 SDB's and 1 IB, plus 3 other
SDB's named after my husband, a niece and nephew.
My daughter wants one named after her, but I'm much
more fussy nowadays, poor child.

seedling, maiden bloom
Thanks
El, It's ironic you named your first sdlgs. after your
grandchildren. I want a couple of good irises to name after my two
nieces, Olivia & Sophie. Billy "When one tugs at a single thing in

Congrats on your first sdlg, Billy. It bears watching. My
first few seedlings are named after my 4 grandchildren, just garden names, not
registered. They all come to visit "their" iris when I let them know
it's about to bloom. El, near Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada Z3 -----

seedling, maiden bloom This is my very first seedling to bloom. Sdlg:
08-01D, Moon Over Madness X Barbara Jean. 5 buds, tight
branching. There are 3 other seedlings from this cross, but no
bloom from them this year. I really like the style arms and interested in
seeing what it does the next couple of years. All comments or
criticisms greatly appreciated. Billy "When one tugs at a
