Here's some pics of what I woke up to this morning. It may not be the best form but to me it's a lipstick red color which is what I was striving for. Some of the red iris flowers I have seen are too orange, some too purple. I only hope it shows up good on your monitor.These photos were taken with the late morning sun beaming down - the beard is a old gold  color as you can see in 'one' of the 4 photos. The falls are kinda velvety and measuring from the soil line to the top of the flower it measures 36 inches. I am so excited and could hardly wait to share it with you. There are 3 flowers on this stalk.
