Hi Gary, and others, I think that seedling is beautiful . . .. smokey colors are "in" right now . . . and I wouldn't necessarily consider that seedling a muddy tone. I can't explain what it is, but there is a distinct difference between "muddy" colors, and "smokey" colors. Keep it! Is there by any chance any of Barry Blyth's irises in your seedling's pedigree?
