Thanks, Griff.
<<glowing quality that it tends to pass on.>>
I like it's height, bud count and bloom dependability.  It's good to know about it's other breeding capabilities.

Betty  --  Lumalite has a glowing quality that it tends to pass on.  The orange beard surrounded by cadmium yellow haft also reappears.  And the double ring pattern apparent in this photo also shows up in one of my Lumalite crosses which I posted a few weeks ago.  --  Griff

Griff,  what would he be looking for with this move?  Will it enhance the pattern or is it something else?

Here is the second seedling from 'Lumalite' as the pollen parent.  This one has none of the yellow wash at the tips of the standards.  Instead, the hafts of the standards are flushed yellow.  The jaunty falls are a light orange with wide white veins forming "eyelashes" at the tips of the beards.  The beards are narrower than those in seedling #1,  There is a white band beginning halfway down the edges of the falls and that banding at the tip forms an arrow that points upward towards the beards.  Below the white band there is a narrow bright gold edging.
